Health Benefits
Premiums are 100% covered by Affirm for you and your dependents.
Medical plan optionsÂ
- Cigna OAP (available nationwide):
- $10 Copayment for office visits
- A lower-deductible PPO plan ($250 individual, $750 family)
- Allows you to seek in-network and out-of-network health services
- Cigna OAPIN (available nationwide):
- $15 Copayment for office visits
- $0 deductible EPO plan
- Only in-network providers are covered (aside from mental health providers which are covered in and out-of-network)
- Kaiser Permanente HMO (available to California residents only):
- $15 Copayment for office visits
- $0 deductible HMO plan
- Only in-network providers are covered
Dental plan
Delta Dental: $0 annual deductible, $2,500 annual max, no charge preventative and basic care, $3,000 orthodontia.

VSP Network Signature Plan: $0 exam, $0 materials, $200 each towards either two pairs of glasses, or one pair of glasses & 1 set of elective contact lenses, or 2 sets of elective contact lenses, every calendar year.

Wellness
Mental health resources
Lyra is a mental health platform that assists with screening, care navigation, and virtual visits with licensed therapists or physicians. Affirmers and their eligible dependents will receive up to 12 free annual virtual visits with a Lyra provider.
The Mental Wellness@Affirm community group hosts events for the company with a focus on mental wellness.

Family journey:
We’re proud to offer additional support for you and your partner through Maven. Maven is a platform that provides on-demand virtual care, clinically informed content, and a supportive community for planning, starting, or raising a family through every stage of your unique journey.
We’re excited to offer our S.A.F.E. Journey Wallet. You will receive a $20,000 lifetime wallet upon hire that can be used toward adoption, surrogacy, and long-term egg, sperm, and embryo storage expenses in 2024.Â
Additionally, we offer $20,000 lifetime maximum fertility coverage through our Cigna plans. Services include:
- IUI, IVF, GIFT, ZIFT
- Infertility drugs, testing, treatment
- Short-term fertility preservation, preimplantation genetic testing, and more

Parental support:Â
We want you to feel supported and prepared for your little one’s arrival. Birth and non-birth parents receive 18 paid weeks of parental leave. The Parents@Affirm community group is available to provide you with the resources you’ll need when welcoming a new family member. Affirm is also partnered with Parentaly to help employees successfully plan for and return from parental leave.

Vacation policy
We offer a generous vacation policy. Our exempt Affirmers have a flexible vacation policy, and our
non-exempt Affirmers have 20 PTO days that are accrued annually.
Away days
Away Days provide space for employees to either take time off or get work done without the distraction of non-essential meetings, pings, and email.
Health days
You will have 10 paid Health days per calendar year, which can be used to take sick days or mental health days.
Additional protections
We provide legal benefits through RocketLawyer for you to help you address life’s legal situations. ARAG, a legal insurance plan, is also available at a minimal cost to you. Additionally, we provide Norton LifeLock to give you peace of mind with comprehensive all-in-one protection for your identity, personal information, and connected devices.
Life happens leave
We offer 15 paid days of Life happens leave per year for COVID-19 circumstances, unexpected caregiving or childcare needs, or in case of a natural disaster.
