How to Enroll

Before You Enroll

There are a few things to keep in mind  before you enroll:

  • You can only enroll in benefits during Open Enrollment, within 30 days of becoming benefit eligible, or within 30 days of a qualifying life event.
  • You’ll need to know the date of birth, social security number, and address for each dependent you will cover.
  • Make sure to review your enrollment materials to understand your benefit options and costs for the coming year.

Enrolling through UltiPro

UltiPro is our online enrollment system that enables you to make all your benefit decisions in one place. To review your benefits or enroll:

  1. Log in to: UKG
    1. Visit UltiPro > Menu > Myself > Life Events > I am a New Affirmer
    2. Visit UltiPro 
    3. Click Menu 
    4. Click Myself 
    5. Click Life Events  
    6. Click I am a New Affirmer
  2. Add your personal and dependent information for each eligible dependent! 
  3. Select your benefit plans for the coming year. Don’t forget to add each dependent to each plan! 
  4. Review your choices and costs before finalizing, and don’t forget to press “submit”! 

Get Help From a Benefits Advocate

Are you getting married and not sure how and when to add your new spouse to your plan? Is your stepchild eligible for your healthcare plan? Do you need help understanding the nuances of an FSA? A Benefit Advocate can help answer these questions and more.

Benefits Advocates are trained benefits experts who can help you understand and use your healthcare and other coverage. Contact your Benefit Advocate for issues such as:

  • General benefit questions
  • Eligibility and coverage
  • Finding a network provider
  • Health care claims or billing issues when warranted
  • Coverage changes due to life events (marriage, new child, divorce, etc.)

Claims Assistance

If you need claims assistance, you’ll need to complete a HIPAA Authorization Form to grant your Benefit Advocate permission to work with your insurer and/or healthcare provider(s) to resolve your claims issues. Permission is granted on a limited-time basis to only the individuals listed on the form. The form is revocable at any time. Your Benefit Advocate will provide the form to you when needed.
