Away Days
It’s important to our overall wellbeing to have the opportunity to disconnect from work and do the things that bring us peace and balance. Each year, we provide Affirmers with a series of Away Days to ensure you have monthly opportunities for a mental break.
The purpose of Away Days is to institute regularly scheduled, regional breaks where Affirmers have respite from their computer or if necessary, the ability to get work done without the distraction of back-to-back internal meetings, pings, and email.
Away Days Scheduling and Deadlines
When possible, we encourage you to adjust your schedule so that you can take full advantage of an Away Day. If you need to work during an Away Day, that’s okay too. Some Affirmers appreciate having a productive day without the typical distractions.
Is the Away Days Calendar Flexible?
No. The Away Days calendar is final. However, Affirmers may use FTO or accrued vacation for alternate days off.
